If you need a safety lock because you don't know where your gears are, just turn in your license now.

I use the buttons on the wheel for left/right veiws. Handbrake is the far right red button on H-unit. Starter is the top black button. I think I have the horn on there too, but I never use it. The D-pad is all my smiley's and a sorry. I don't like reaching over to the keyboard for that stuff.

Actually I find WR setups tend to be a little tricky to drive, very "twitchy" in my book. A good race setup from setupfield.teaminferno.hu seem to be pretty stable. Give some of those a try.


That chicane is really tricky for some reason, I think Scawen covered the curbs in butter. Just practice it, I still can't come out of there with proper speed. The earlier turn-in the better I've found.

If you start braking early do it lightly so the guy behind will hopefully see that and not hit you. You have to find that fine line between braking to hard/late and getting the understeer and beginning the breaking early but to hard. You really shouldn't be bottoming out the brake pedal too often if at all.


Defies all begining racers logic but. SLOW IN- FAST OUT!! The first chicane that leads to that back stretch is THE most important corner on the whole track. The faster you can exit that corner, the more speed you carry ALL the way down that stratch and hopefully pass a few on the way

Not sure if this is a Patch bug or not(I've only just begun experiencing this), but sometimes while in race with G25 wheel, the steering inputs get changed somehow. ie. its set to 720 then in middle of race(no accidents) it will change to like 110 degrees.
Then I Alt+Tab out and back in; changing nothing; and it works fine. Any ideas? I was driving FZR


P.S. It also happened in XFG after a horrendous accident so I just attributed it to that.

I have been rolled plenty of times becuse of those curbs. But it is part of the track and I eaither have to deal with it, or not race there.

Lately it seems CTRA1 has been doing FEGreenREV(?) quite alot. Just horrible really. Too long for the low power cars IMO.

Thats why Demo users now have usernames. They can be banned by username for wrecking.

I think it's a great way to "unite" the community, and hopefully we'll see some better racers come out of it, and a few more S2 drivers

I've been having some issues lately too. It alwasy seems to be at the same time after work. 5:30 US Central time, then it just works fine after 5-10 mins.

make sure the wheel degree settings is 720

The AA/AF incorporation is perfect. No real loss of frame rates even online.

The text on screen looks alot more crisp. New start "lights" look really good to me.

I have had a few issues (in FBM), but maybe I shouldn't have spun out in the first place. I personally like it. It even field between people who use clutch, and people with autogears(no shift delay).
